These extended roll pans fit beneath the tailgate extending out from the rear sill to be flush with the gate for a nice finished look. The extended roll pan does not come to the bottom of the rear fender. If you use the license box the original rear sill needs to be cut out. The cut out area will then be covered by the roll pan. These are a good choice if the bed is already painted as they can be bolted on.
